Rod Combellick, deputy director
& operations manager for the Alaska Division of Geological &
Geophysical Surveys (ADGGS), has decided to retire in July. Rod has
clocked more than 30 years of stellar service and commitment and his
departure will open a cavern in the state’s active geologic community. We
will miss his expertise and leadership greatly.
On a more positive note, Rod’s
retirement also provides an excellent opportunity for someone to advance their
career, hone their leadership skills, and have a major impact in the geologic
affairs of Alaska.
