Ben Dejong, State Geologist of Vermont

Benjamin Dejong has been appointed Vermont State Geologist, effective today. Ben has for a decade been a hydrogeological consultant based in Montpelier, and he also spent a couple years teaching at Norwich University. Prior to consulting, Ben worked for eight years with the USGS, including work on Chesapeake Bay Geology. He holds a PhD from University of Vermont, and he also graduated from Calvin College and Utah State. Welcome, Ben!
